This was one of my favourite shoots of the year. @sarahpalmerphoto asked me to photograph @chemilhamoooo for @macleansmag . I love when stories align and I can photograph a strong Asian woman with integrity, courage and strength. Chemi is a Tibetan-Canadian Activist who calls for us all to stand in solidarity with those subject to acts of Chinese oppression and expansionism. @sarahpalmerphoto is such a thoughtful photo editor and handles assignments with such care and integrity.
