Alfredo explores themes of gay love, light pollution, curiosity and faith in the natural world, and human disconnection in his latest series. Taking Issac Asimov's 1941 science fiction short story "NIGHTFALL" as a departure point, the artist recontextualizes that story to take place in the present era on a Caribbean island and center around young lovers. "El Entreacto (The Intermission)(2022) a recent acquisition by ICA Miami depicts the two male figures embracing in front of an outdoor cinema.
