It was a joy to be a panelist at the @weallgrowlatina Las Founders event alongside other phenomenal CEOs. It was so powerful to be in a room of 300 Latina entrepreneurs who are building companies. My advice for getting into retail: Begin with the end in mind. Decide & Declare what you are building, for where, and for whom. And then work backwards. Don’t allow your Vision to be dictated by your current bank account. I have never been able to afford anything I’ve done. Even back when I was a musician making albums. Whenever people would ask me what my budget was I would counter with “how much does it cost” . And then I would go find the money. Sell clothes on eBay if I had to.
