Comb control and why💡 By now we all know that the 3 no-no’s in cutting a blunt perimeter are elevation, tension and over-direction. By using the comb to create our line we are simply eliminating 2 of the 3. The comb will naturally control your tension. Wet hair is elastic so the more we pull on wet hair, the more it shrinks when dried. The comb will minimize tension and help to eliminate graduation. Using the comb and cutting against or close to the skin will also help to eliminate graduation. And last is over-direction. The more we cut the hair away from where it lives the more graduation it’s going to create. Graduation is a beautiful thing, I just want to decide where and when I use it.
