How to Avoid Travel Nightmares.😱 • Maybe you're sitting in an airport frustrated, your flight has been delayed for the 2nd time, or your luggage is lost. • Travel is up sky high and so are the number of delays and canceled flights • As a doctor and former concierge, I suggest some pre-planning so you won’t lose your marbles next time you leave for the airport. • Here are some tips and tricks to keep you sane: -Travel in the early morning as these flights have the least delays. -Bring several scarves, a change of clothes and underwear in case your bags don’t make it. -Use scarves to keep you warm, open doors, or make them into a pillow or to support your back. -Pack lightweight water bottles. -Pack all your medication and keep it in your carry-on bag. -Utilize travel lounges or look into airport amenities prior to your trip -Pack a light snack or meal so your blood sugar doesn't crash (pro tip- pack an ice pack but it will go off in security) -Bring an extra charger with you. We always travel with a charger brick in case there are no charging stations available. -Have a plan if your flight is delayed, know where airline help desks are, and have phone numbers stored in your phone, just in case. Certain credit card companies have a concierge service to help you out faster than going into lines to get you rebooked on flights. . In a small plastic bag I always bring the following: An assortment of tea/matcha Ginger candy Hydration tabs like @nuunhydration or @piquelife Btox Pain meds Decongestant Cough drops Pepto Bismol Decongestant Anti viral medication. Zinc lozenges Facial Tissue Hand sanitiser and wipes Non-refrigerated probiotics Small cosmetic samples include hand cream and face cream A mini palette of make-up Facial wipes toothbrush and toothpaste Eye drops Band-Aids The kitchen sink, kidding... I promise you that if you remove items out of a box they collapse into a bag. • It is no secret traveling right now is ridiculous, but show your appreciation to airport workers who are also completely fried. .
