@ranwein, she thought of it all. ✨ Every gorgeous last detail that made @thisisfabchs so very FAB. A pithy Thank You just won’t cover it. But nonetheless, THANK YOU forever to Randi, @sugarandoysters + Casey for their tireless love and effort poured into this triumphant workshop, three years in the making. 💓 There are MANY highlights of @thisisfabchs that I could gush over. Firstly, Charleston’s William Aiken House is beautiful (the floral wallpaper and the chandeliers in the bathrooms!!). I loved our @yeti bottles and the #thisisfab hydration stations. Devita Davison’s (@foodlabdetroit) opening keynote shook us all (“we need to *care* about care”). I felt so much 😭 from the Walking Away panel. It was a privilege to speak on three panels, covering non-profit work, establishing your brand and discussing politics, mission statements and beliefs for our businesses. It felt SO good to spend more time with @jasmineleilani + @elizabethtilton, meet Jen of @musketroom and @reem.assil, share a morning walk with @chefmavisjay, hear @jeaniechunn, @heyjoodles and @ireneshiangli speak their truths, fall in adoration of @sue.bette. Hold the first issue of @speakingbroadly! Learning 30+ years of women’s leadership from @marthashoover and hopefully absorbing some of her exercised bravery (self-billed “delusional af”). Finally enjoy @alyssa_mikiko’s @the.koji.club_ in pop-up form! I think I ate oysters every day ... but particularly loved the ones shucked by the young chefs out of the @leeinitiative program. I loved being on a bus named Nell — Olivia’s (@pip.star) @lowcountrystreetgrocery — the best little mobile grocery ever. All the damn cortados — TY @counterculturecoffee. 400 ridiculously impressive F&B women you should all know — and be amplifying their work. Magical bonus: Running into @parmerlane and @elizabethmeltz at @eattheordinary!!!! And I just miss my best friend so much, every single day in LA, and I’m glad @bigtallted, @bennyc86 and @hambonethepup drove over from Georgia to eat a few Southern dinners together. Ride the @lowcooysters boat!
