Maritime Law Enforcement 🇺🇸 is another primary mission of coastal patrol boats. For two years now, WAHOO has participated in #OperationDryWater, a national outreach and enforcement campaign with the goal of raising awareness about the dangers of boating under the influence (BUI). We interact with many boaters over the especially busy Fourth of July weekend, and throughout the year, to raise awareness about boating safety. This past year we issued six violations for BUI and negligent operations, removing unsafe boaters from the water.
