Hey all my peeps with gut issues... Have you ever taken a probiotic or herbal antimicrobial (like oil of oregano) and felt AWFUL afterwards?? Maybe your doctor even recommended you take some antibiotics to get rid of your SIBO and instead of you feeling better, you felt WAY worse?? Yeahhh this my friend, is a die-off reaction. And it’s honestly one of the main things that prevents people from ever actually healing their gut. (don’t be like these people) To give you the short, die-off is when you experience a temporary increase in symptoms as you kill off any unwanted bacterial, fungal, or parasite overgrowths in your gut. This usually lasts 1-2 weeks, but the severity of it depends a LOT on how well you prep your body beforehand. Now understand, some die-off is unavoidable... but you can make it WAY easier on yourself if you do the following things: - Make sure you’re having daily bowel movements 💩 (this is one of the main ways your body detoxes) - Eat liver supporting foods - Stay super hydrated & get 8 hours of sleep each night - Introduce only ONE new supplement at a time at the lowest possible dose, then slowlyyy increase over time It typically takes about 4-8 weeks to fully clear out these gut bugs, and a little bit of die-off is expected. This is actually a sign the protocol is WORKING, and usually the supplement you tolerate the least is the one your body needs the most. You may feel a little tired & bloated, but you shouldn’t be completely wrecked. If this happens, you definitely want to cut the supplement dosage in half and wait until your body adjusts. I’m telling you... if you can just break past the initial 1-2 weeks of die-off, this is where you will feel better than you’ve felt in a LONG TIME 🤩 I’ve heard nightmare stories of people feeling TERRIBLE on antimicrobials, which is why our whole program is designed to be as gentle as possible on your system.
