Since I met more than three people during the movie premieres, which is clearly not natural to me, I predictably have the flu now. So I won't be doing much of anything for a little while. In January, however, I'll make a short trip to New York and do two events: One at the Princeton Library and one at The Center for Fiction in Brooklyn. (I think the easiest way to get tickets is to Google the venue+my name, really, because posting links here is a mess.) The Center for Fiction also has livestream tickets, in case anyone who's not in New York would like to watch. (I think the Princeton Library event will be livestramed at Youtube too, but I have a fever so don't take my word for it, check their homepage.) I'd also like to take this time to say thank you to whoever watched the virtual event I did on December 10, with the consortium of American libraries. Apparently 6000 people attended and several more watched the stream afterwards. I hope I didn't disappoint you. Sometimes I get paid for these events and sometimes not, but whenever I am the money always goes to charity. Right now my wife and I are donating everything from my speaking engagements to Amnesty, for their work in Iran. If you have the possibility, please consider donating whatever you can to them.
