A Late Summer’s Evening ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ A very personal project that took place back in August — A whimsical and poetic editorial that tells a story of personal memories, feelings and emotions felt during Summer of 2020, when the country was experiencing its first lockdown. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Focusing on the simple things that we adore and love, surrounded by our closest loved ones; A taste of happy nostalgia, amongst uncertainty and worry. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Inspired by what an ‘ideal perfect Summer evening’ would be like, wandering through grassy meadows and fields, sitting in the park sipping wine, where soft light bounces off the overgrown wild flowers and burnt-out grasses and where shadows are formed by hazy beams of light when the sun starts to finally set — A part of the day where there seemed to be an element of stillness and calm, whilst feeling the early evening sun kiss your skin.
