Over the past few years we have learned a lot about how to approach a disaster. Most of all, it takes a village and always go to the folks in the community and ask what they need then do that. We also learned how to get water tankers mobilized and on site quickly, that folks with trailers and box trucks will come to the rescue if you ask, and that mutual aid and working as a collective will always make the most impact. @appalachian.ky and their team have led the way on organizing the support their community needs. @wckitchen is the best at making sure everyone has a nourishing meal. CANE kitchen is the heart of the community in Whitesburg and their meals will warm your heart. If you need potable water for anything from drinking to cleaning you or your home, we have tankers at Hemp Hill and in Rowdy- bring any container you want to fill. Both sites have most supplies you may need.
