We hand hammer all 135 copper rivets to fully assemble this rock solid leather tote. I love hitting the open road, in fact my whole family does! My wife, three kids and German Shepherd drive thousands of miles every summer chasing the next adventure. We always struggled with having the right bags or setup for keeping all of our snacks organized and easy to get to until I finally decided to pull the trigger and build this bag. It had to be a semi rigid design so it doesn’t flop all over the place while driving. The Road Trip Tote had to be the right size to fit in the aisle or between seats easily, and of course it needed the right pocket arrangement. The trickiest part was designing an open bag that also had a secure closure. We devised a way to make magnetic handles to pull them together keeping the bag open yet secure.
