New Limited Edition Print “Frenzy” / I slipped down to the seafloor and peered up at the carousel of lemon and reef sharks circling high above. From the surface, the congregation was more like a churning mass of slicing fins. But from where I swam, barely brushing the soft sand beneath me, it was peaceful watching them turn methodically in slow arcs. Sharks are much more thoughtful and cautious than most of us realize, mapping out their vast territories through the subtle shifts of an ever-changing environment. Over the course of my career, I have spent hours getting to know the nuances of each shark’s personality and how they bring balance to their marine habitats.
