when my best bro @_jadeite_cabbage_with_insects_ asked me to do set design with them for @bros_before_movie there was no way i could refuse. This was in so many ways a dream project and i’m so grateful to @degeneracy_now for writing it and making it a reality 🤜💥🤛 here are some of my favorite shots and up-close bts of the main character, Elijah’s room. Working on Elijah’s room felt like a love letter to all my T boyfriends (yes homo). I found myself laughing with Jade so many times because we both felt like we had been in many versions of Elijah’s room before. It felt familiar to us, like we were crashing at our bro’s for the night after a bad breakup. I could go on and on about how thinking about this film feels like a fist bump to my heart in a really emotional way (just real gay stuff ya know) but i think the letterboxd reviews say it best!!! Trans 🚬s own my heart too!!!! I love us so so much 🫶
