Mannn a week of firsts - including my first time in Montréal 🇨🇦 Thank you Kelly & Joana aka @sugarface_belfo & @jesuistba for being so open, kind and down to work together to bring Boogie Montréal to life. I was inspired by your dedication to building community, love of your city, and dope curation of bringing a super talented mix of artists and sounds representing the local scene. I’d been admiring from afar for awhile what they’ve been building there - and it was special bringing that full circle. Follow @flatcola_mtl and @internationalwomensdj! It took close to 20 events but my pops finally made it to his first Boogie. After years of asking “how was the clean up?” now he finally has some context of what we’ve been doing ♥️ It was our first time hosting a @bkyardboogie in a different country! Big Bertha’s first time over the border 🚙 Also my first time eating Montréal bagels. Honestly I can see the argument vs. NYC. They’re smaller/more thin but because of that the ratio of flavor to bite may be slightly higher. Lemme know what you think 🥯
