At the weekend I went to see my parents by myself for the first time since before my son was born. I didn’t know what to do with myself, feeling genuinely warm and having something to celebrate. Most importantly I finally got a pic of the jumper I finished. When I cast that neckline on it was Pride weekend in Brighton and having the fluffy wool on my bare legs was almost unbearable. It was unimaginable that making it a size up for wearing on 80% of the days between December > March would be a plan that worked but IT HAS. It’s the @sandnesgarn ‘Lou’ jumper from their most recent pattern book and the yarn is also @sandnesgarn from the brilliant @knitt_yarns who are incredibly helpful and have the most beautiful stock and were also very patient when I messed up my order with crappy wifi and accidentally cancelled my card lol. The colour is ‘jelly bean’, and I love it.
