Applications open today and can be found at the link in our bio. These grants are available to both existing and startup businesses. In addition to the monetary awards, this year’s grants for new Black-owned food businesses will include a continuing education component for grantees with seminars featuring food-industry veterans. The seminars will include timely and relevant topics such as commercial leases, small business accounting, and employee training and retention. Our collective intent is to ensure financial support and other resources to sustain long-term business health and success. Because this is about more than saving restaurants; it’s about preserving Black culinary culture today and into the future.
