Is this not the most amazing image of Jupiter you've ever seen? 😲 It's because this giant planet has northern and southern lights called aurorae! You can see them near Jupiter’s north and south poles, as observed in @NASAWebb's new infrared image (left) and in ultraviolet by @NASAHubble (right). Aurorae form when charged particles are caught by and accelerated along the planet’s magnetic field.
