Last June I phoned Prosper @assouline to ask if he had any projects going - ‘I have a few things - I’ll get back to you’ - 3 days later I got the call - ‘Get ready, we’re going to France to shoot a book for @louisvuitton ‘ - And so I found myself the following week attempting to quarantine in springtime Paris with a curfew lifting and the European football championships starting - It was the beginning of an incredible journey, for 6 weeks I travelled the length and breadth of France with Prosper, @1adam12 and the amazing team from LV. From Mount Saint Michel and Brittany in the north, the wine regions of the Loire Valley, the Rhone Valley in the foothills of Alps, the fragrant Lavender fields of Provence and then finally Grasse and Cannes on the Mediterranean Coast. We travelled a tourist - free land immersing ourselves in Louis Vuitton - a world of luxury and pride, a world of precision and craftsmanship. A massive thanks to all those who helped us along the journey and also to the ateliers that welcomed us into their places of work with open arms.
