Olaplex No. 7 for the 🏆//not me being a scientist👩🏾‍🔬 I’ve been hearing a lot of “Oil talk” on the timeline and I thought I’d share a fun fact about Olaplex No. 7 being water soluble. Water soluble// meaning able to dissolve in water 🚿 If you look at the two bowls the one on the right clearly shows oil separating from the water but not dissipating🤯- in return it will not easily come off the hair while Olaplex No. 7 the Bonding oil- is water soluble and disappears into the water! 🤯🙌🏾 I always tell my clients and Curlfriends that water is the best hydrator but how do you properly hydrate if you’re using products that block out water ? This is important because traditional heavy oils that don’t typically rinse out - cause build up and DRYNESS. A lot of us curly / textured girls believe that the issue is the porosity but it’s also products that are not formulated with the right molecular structure to penetrate the hair adding to unnecessary blockage of water.
