Oggi, nella sala di Casa Albini, rivive l'ultimo progetto di Franco Albini cioè le lampade modello AM/ AS. Ora come allora la serie si compone di infinite configurazioni. La caratteristica principale della serie è infatti la modularità, concetto rispettato anche dall’azienda Nemo Lighting con differenti forme dei corpi illuminanti combinabili liberamente con la struttura di base che permette di trasformare la stessa lampada trasformandola di volta in volta in lampada da terra, a sospensione, da tavolo o applique. Nemo utilizza con spirito di continuità, gli stessi materiali scelti dai progettisti negli anni ’60: sofisticato vetro bianco opalino e metallo cromato. Questa scelta di Nemo Lighting ci fa capire come l’attenzione verso l’uso dei materiali sia di fondamentale importanza nello sviluppo di un progetto, sia architettonico che di design e vada sempre rispettata e difesa.
