We are SO excited to announce that MAC and @elevatedaxs have successfully flown our first client on a private pro-abortion flight! ✈ Elevated Access, a team of pilots that have committed to helping people access abortions, and MAC have been hard at work initiating private pro-abortion flight coverage in this country. We're thrilled to start offering this service to our clients in areas with little to no commercial bus, train, or plane routes and we will expand the coverage so our partner practical support organizations can take advantage soon, too! Earlier this month, a MAC client who lives in a state where abortion is banned was able to get to their provider in the Midwest on an Elevated Access flight. What would have been a 10 hour drive and an overnight stay was instead 3 hours of flying there and back home to her kids in one day. Not even with a commercial flight would this have been possible! While we love collaborating on defenses to attacks on our bodies, this shouldn't be necessary and we will continue fighting for a country where abortion is normalized, free, and accessible.
