It’s taken me a couple days to reflect on our Stretch event Tuesday night. Okay, I’ll admit it. I was nervous. I knew everything was curated to a tee, set up beautifully by an incredible team, and executed flawlessly to the last detail. Why was I anxious? And then I realized I was missing @kggallardo who couldn’t be there this time. I was lucky enough to represent @cuyana for both of us with women I love and admire, while she worked tirelessly in SF. How could I celebrate this incredible new collection without her? When I finally was on my way, I remembered a truth Karla had instilled in me early in our @cuyana journey- that when you show up as your most authentic self and share something you truly believe in, there is no need to be nervous. It was my honor to represent our hard work, and share the beauty of our brand with an unbelievable group of women who were coming because they believed in Cuyana and what we were building. How could I be nervous when my evening was to be filled with the good energy of incredible, accomplished women who wanted to lift me and everyone else they come across UP? The Stretch Line to Karla and I is about this sentiment. The two of us have stretched to our very capacity to deliver the most beautiful brand we possibly can. And every single woman, whether or not we had the pleasure of your company Tuesday, is stretching herself in so many ways every single day. We hope these pieces move with you throughout your day and make you feel most like your authentic self, always.
