Crenn cemented her pop culture prominence with appearances on Netflix's "Chef's Table" and "Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend," and is currently serving as the chief technical consultant for 2022 horror movie "The Menu" (starring Ralph Fiennes). She opened Atelier Crenn in San Francisco in 2011, soon followed by wine bar Bar Crenn (recipient of its own Michelin star) and Petit Crenn. The highly-decorated chef received the James Beard Award for Best Chef - West in 2018, and the World's 50 Best Icon Award in 2021. Originally from France, Crenn moved to the U.S. in the 1980s.
