Repost from @blackwomenradicals 📣2nd Defend Black Women March - COVID-19 Protocol and Announcements 📣 ➖In an effort to assist with stopping the spread of COVID-19, we are asking all participants to take a COVID-19 rapid test within 24 hours before arriving for the weekend events. ➖If you test positive for COVID-19 or are experiencing any COVID-19 related symptoms, please REMAIN AT HOME. We also encourage all who are eligible to get fully vaccinated against COVID-19, and receive a booster shot, if they are able. ———————————————————————————— 📣Show Up in White and Wear A Mask! 🙌🏾 ➖We are asking all Defend Black Women Participants to wear white and to pack a COVID-19 preparedness kit with your masks, hand sanitizer, and any other items that will allow you to feel comfortable participating in the weekend's activities. We recommend wearing surgical, KN95 or N95 masks while in close proximity to others (e.g. during the rally and march) and/or while indoors. 📍We will also be giving free PPE during the March Weekend as well! ——————————————————————————— 📣Pull Up and Get Tested! Testing will be available on-site during registration on Friday, July 29th at the Eaton Hotel in Washington, D.C. from 2:00-5:00 PM EST. Participants will use self-testing kits. Should a participant test positive, they will be asked to refrain from participating in any of the weekend's activities and return home, if it is safe to do so. Tests will also be available on site at Malcolm X Park on July 30, 2022. ——————————————————————————- 📣Official Washington, D.C. Off-Site Location To Get Tested!
