Choosing to get sleeved was the hardest decision of my entire life! I’m finally brave enough to talk about it publicly. During my 20s I have lost close to 100 lbs 3 times through juicing, working out, healthy eating etc however my weight became a constant struggle. I would always gain the weight back due to depression which would cause me to overeat . I started developing serious health issues and this time I decided to make a permanent decision. A lot of people told me it “was the lazy way out” that I shouldn’t do it but I didn’t listen. I had finally learned to love myself and accept my body as a plus size queen but my decision wasn’t based on looks. I wanted to be around for my daughter.
