Greetings from the Old Rectory, where we’ve returned home from London, just in time for a swift gin & tonic from the grog tray. As a consequence, I’m now feeling sufficiently reinvigorated to cook our supper: pasta with crispy bacon, a few flakes of chilli, black pepper, spinach, peas, courgettes and a sprinkling of cheese. All that is required next is something comforting to watch on the telly; all suggestions gratefully received!
