Psalm 139 - a passage that has clung to my heart and that I’ve been clinging to🫶🏼 Early in 2024, I began consistently flipping to Psalm 139, randomly at first, and then out of a desire to come back and sit in it. I didn’t completely realize it, but I believe the Lord was truly impressing these words on my heart. As the things of life unfolded, I was continuously met with these words popping into my mind, reminding me of truth He has for me. It’s been on my heart to share a few of the verses that stuck out to me at different times. One passage with so many different truths - His word is alive and active! v1: You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. v5: You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me. v7, v10: Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? ... even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. v12: even the darkness will not be dark to you. v16: all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. Whatever lies ahead, I’m resting in the reminders that He knows me, sees me, and goes before and behind me. Praying His promises can stick with you too!!
