I believe in the power of art to transform the lives of the vulnerable and disadvantaged. As well as to be admired, art has an important social, civic and humanitarian function. The Covid pandemic forced a lot of us to stop and reflect on what is truly meaningful. It is crucial to me that my work leaves a legacy that is lasting, impactful, and tangible. That’s why it is my great pleasure to share news of an exceptional project: “Jewellery Creations by Fabio Salini: a Charity Auction for Art of Wishes”, an unprecedented collaboration between @fabiosalinijewelry, @theartofwishes and @sothebys. I have donated a selection of over 50 one-of-a-kind jewellery creations to be auctioned at Sotheby’s between August 25 – September 8 to raise vital funds to grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses, with 100% of the proceeds going to @makeawishuk charity foundation.
