We were inspired by the story of Gwen Christon, owner of Isom IGA and pillar of her community. Gwen and her store are crucial in feeding people and her store is one of the largest employers in the area. Her store was completely devastated by recent catastrophic flooding to the area. We are pledging $10,000 from our EKY Flood Relief Fund to help Gwen reopen her store and get back to the important work of feeding people in her community.
