Her work this year as the first Black woman principal patron at the Venice Biennale where she supported the incomparable @soniaboyce, who became the first Black woman artist to not only represent the UK at the world’s leading art festival but win the top prize there inspired this portfolio, which includes culture shifters @bettinakorek CEO of Serpentine Galleries; curator, art historian and ELLE contributing editor @aindreaemelife ; GUTS gallerist @elliepennick and artist #AyoAkingbade. ‘People have really taken up the idea of the image and smashed all the stereotypes that were very limiting,’ Sonia says in the issue.
