Another major in the books 😭 this marathon run was HARD. Idk if it was the sun, or the fact that I’ve spent the last week walking 30k steps a day to see this magical city — but it was just plain difficult from the beginning. I pushed through just by thinking of meeting my sisters at our different meeting points. And that’s what kept me going. I broke down in sobs when I crossed the finish line from pure gratitude — for this body, my sisters, my heritage, and GRATITUDE FOR IT BEING OVER lol 🥹 also gratitude for the running but that I caught last year, that doesn’t seem to want to go away. #marathon #tokyomarathon #runner #runnergirls
