Everything in Greenland is BIG. It’s a humbling landscape. I have only met a handful of Greenlandic natives, but I’ve also noticed that their hearts are BIG too. I met @aadarmi (pictured here) 5 years ago on a previous film project. He was our guide, but WAY more than just that. There is a calmness to him that grounds you and I noticed myself spending more time pausing and taking my surroundings in, feeling gratitude. We’ve stayed connected and I was overjoyed when he agreed to join our recent expedition. Every morning we would hug each other for at least 10 seconds taking several deep breathes. It was the best way to start the day. A moment of calm & reflection in what can sometimes feel like non-stop days. We never missed a hug in the +40 days we were here. Experiences are wonderful, but they are even better when you shared them with people you care about. Qujanaq Aadami!
