I mostly stay indoors, anyone who know me knows that, but if I do go out it's always because of these two (or the one taking the picture). 2022 was a special year to us: On the one hand we got to experience incredible adventures with novels and films, red carpets and movie shoots and bestseller lists and book tours. But on the other we were constantly reminded of the fragility of life, the affect of age and disease, the loss of memory and the importance of family. We've lost a little this year, we've struggled some, we've had to talk a lot about death. We've laughed plenty, we've cried plenty. We've been a little off balance once in a while, but more than anything: Grateful. For health, for family, and for the friends who come without questions when you call them. For the good times, the bad times, and everything in between: Thank you.
