Winners will be announced 7/29 ————————————————————- As a little girl growing up in the east coast I always dreamed of visiting Hershey’s Theme Park, unfortunately my family didn’t have the resources but I knew deep down inside that one day my dream would become true. Never in a million years would I have ever guessed that my first visit to their theme park would be to see my own makeup display in their stores. From being an undocumented immigrant, an Afro Latina that came to America with nothing to creating a collection with @hersheys has been one of the most surreal moments of my life. I always tell the story of when I was in 4th grade and my teacher created a stock market game for us, she asked us what our dream company was and I said “Hershey’s “ without any hesitation. If someone would of told me that the little girl who used to save up a dollar to go buy a Hersheys bar at the bodega, would now be creating products with them, I wouldn’t of believed them. I dedicated this collection to all of the dreamers; to everyone who has been told not to dream too big, for everyone that has been rejected, for everyone who had to overcome life obstacles, THIS ONE IS FOR YOU!
