Floored to present my new @pearljam poster for their Ottawa, ON date tonight!! I’ve been insanely lucky to work with PJ and crew (thank you @mrtsurt and @ianwilliamsart for everything) a few times over the last few years - for a few posters as well as some merch designs, the first poster of which was for the original Ottawa date back in 2020. I was over the moon when I was invited back for tonight’s rescheduled show. I wanted to put a play on how loggers in the region used to float their Lumber down river as giant rafts, and create an alternate history where that practice led to the creation of flying ships and the first known instance of flight happening in 1902 (a year before the first takeoff in NC!). If you swipe, you can see the back of the print which features an illustration of the first recorded photo of flight (more historical photo illustrations please!!!), as well as a bit more lore about the whole thing.
