After graduating from Yale University and the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine, she completed her dermatology training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where she served as chief resident. She then practiced clinical dermatology as full time faculty at the Brigham and Women’s Department of Dermatology, and as an Instructor at Harvard Medical School.
