Infinite gratitude today wrapping my Queen Sugar season seven episodes. I launched my TV career with the generosity of a friend who brought all of us ragtag indie filmmakers into the world of television. Season one was my first two episodes of TV with wide eyes of discovery and overflowing creative energy. Season two as a producing director working with and supporting a wildly talented group of directors who so many are now the dearest of friends. Season three as a showrunner and director combining the words with the images. And Season seven returning to my family directing two episodes. My heart is full. Thank you @ava. Thank you to a cast and crew who put their everything into a story, characters that hold so much meaning for so many people. So proud to be a part of the Queen Sugar legacy. ❤️
