Interspecies cohabitations in the Studio Tomás Saraceno vegetable garden :)
Following principles of permaculture we observe and respond, engaging in a dialogue with the ecology we inhabit every day.
Sometimes we get to enjoy the fruits of this collaboration, sharing communal lunches of basil, tomato, cucumber, zucchini, and strawberries with mint tea. Other times we must cede these moments of celebration to other species like snails and caterpillars who also benefit from the generosity of the plantae world.
In the meantime, spiders and pollinators roam the garden, weaving and floating from one plant to the next, rewilding our communal spaces and reminding us that we are all part of this entangled, interdependent, web of life!
