A bit about each, in their own words: "DJ catieo, Catie Olson, is a free form DJ, with focus on French boogie, disco, funk, soul, psychedelic and electronic music. She has a radio show on Lumpen radio along with several DJ residencies. She’s also a multimedia visual artist with focus on kinetic interactive sculptures. Catie has worked in the Chicago wine industry spanning across two centuries. Travels, tastings and harvests have opened the world of wine for her and she is eager to share with fellow humans. The world of wine and art actively intersect in her work. Catie loves humor and will likely share a pun or 'two' many!" "A career as a sommelier and winemaker has allowed Matty to connect with people from all walks of life and integrate wine into unique experiences alongside food and culture. His natural awareness for the senses pushes him to be make connections and parallels. When this curiosity crosses over into music, he obliterates the idea of genres. Always outside of the box and always paying attention to what’s happening in front of him, your feet are at the whim of whatever is in his record bag. With a reputation for being ‘The DJ’s DJ,’ while living in Chicago, his evolving collection of vinyl has tracked through sound systems such as Sportsman’s Club, Smartbar, Estereo, Lumpen Radio, and a monthly residency 'Underwater Creatures' at The Charleston. You can never know what’s up his sleeve but, rest assured, his ability to pair music to moments will surely be memorable."
