Hosting the wedding at Sophie’s family home brought a personal touch, with the couple, family and friends designing and creating the perfect space. On Friday, a casual dinner was shared with family and friends setting the stage for the celebration. On Saturday, Sophie got ready with family and girlfriends. The bridal party left for the church while Sophie and her father stayed behind for a quiet moment and nerve-settling cup of tea before the ceremony. As the former Eveningwear and Bridal Buyer at @netaporter , Sophie turned to her trusted brands for help with her outfits. For the ceremony, she wore a @daniellefrankel gown from the latest collection—a whimsical and romantic design, with shoes also from @daniellefrankel, stunning yet comfortable. Bridesmaids carried custom embroidered bags by @cliopeppiatt, and Shamus, along with the groomsmen, wore classic morning suits. Sophie’s mother wore a @tallermarmo gown in the most gorgeous emerald green. Sophie arrived at the church in a vintage maroon Rolls Royce, as the aisle was lined with meadow grasses and blooms. Afterward, guests enjoyed a sunny reception with jazz piano. Sophie and Shamus ran into the marquee for dinner to ‘Does your Mother Know’ by ABBA, a highlight of the evening. For dinner, Sophie swapped her veil for her grandmother’s pearl and diamond choker. Sophie and Shamus ended the night with outfit changes, both custom @cliopeppiatt. Sophie wore a fully embroidered corset and skirt and @machandmach platforms. Shamus’ shirt had matching floral details, while the back had crystal lettering reading “Till Death Do Us Part.” They shared their first dance to “Take Me to the Clouds Above,” and the dancefloor stayed full all night.
