The Aperitivo Series Finale! ๐น๐น
A delicious Gnocco Fritto with Mortadella brought to you by @Thomas_Straker. Crunchy and delicious, itโs the perfect addition to your Aperitivo board paired with Aperol Spritz! ๐น๐น
Ingredients:
- 160ml water
- 3g Active dry yeast
- 350g Plain flour
- 50g Lard
- 3g Fine salt
- 1 litre vegetable oil for frying
Method:
1. Mix yeast and water
2. Mix flour and water
3. Add in lard and salt
4. Prove in the fridge. Roll the dough until 3mm thick. Cut in to squares
5. Fry in vegetable oil at 180 degrees
6. Top with mortadella, Parmesan & black pepper
