On July 31st i had my One Year on T(ea) party 🥰 meaning as a Leo moon, i finally figured out a way to make a day out of Leo season be about me LOL. I’m so grateful to my friends for coming to celebrate with me and for bringing so many delicious dishes and treats to share :’—) and ofc a HUGE shoutout to @maegaze for helping me plan and making thee most delectable 3 layer sponge cake with pandan, ube, and macapone u__u and also another BIG thank you to my friends who took over grill duty bc i REALLY underestimated that task lmao.. i wish i could’ve invited and hosted more friends!! But my backyard is only so big and honestly my hosting skills were p rusty lol. This caption is only going to get longer so feel free to stop reading here and just admire the photos <3 . ~reflection on being one T yrs old~ I can’t believe its already been a year!! For so many years leading up to my decision i kept going back and forth on starting. A lot of it had to do with access to trans healthcare as well as being worried about other peoples, but more importantly, my own acceptance of me. I wanted to make this post sooner but funnily enough the week after my T party i got my period for the first time in a while and was in extreme pain from the cramps. More pain than I had ever experienced before that left me with a week long headache. I later found out that this is common among transmasc ppl who are on lower doses as there is not enough estrogen to keep the uterus functioning as it used to. Right after that, i got a new role at my day job that requires me to interact with a lot more strangers, and i realized that i still very much pass as a girl still. Not a single “sir” or “his/him” to be heard 😭 and ngl that has really stung. It made me wonder why I was even bothering to do hrt and if i was doing something wrong. After a couple breakdowns i had to remember a crucial conversation I had with some friends the night of my T party on why I started T in the first place (more in comments)
