I’m so thankful I got to have a small part in this years SWAIA fashion show! It’s so important to showcase indigenous excellence, with respect, and protocol, and to honor our kinship. when we celebrate our intricacies and the beauty in our differences and similarities it’s absolutely a spectacular thing to witness. Intertwined is the reclamation of our power, our language, and our culture, in a contemporary way. I met so many brilliant, beautiful, kind and amazing people. Life gets difficult and it’s shining moments like these that keep me motivated and inspired.
