I had a conversation with a friend, who’s also a fabulous wedding planner, the other day about how I photograph a reception space in a way that captures the design as it was intended. Wedding planners and the couple spend so much time dreaming and designing a wedding that it’s our job as photographers to document every aspect of the design. Here are my top 3 must do’s when shooting a reception space: 1. Wide shot of the room. Be sure to clear everyone out of the room first so you’re able to get a clean shot. 2. Table setting detail. I typically set this up to include plates, silverware, glassware and florals. 3. Close up of a personalized detail. The groom for this wedding is a professional hockey player and at every table setting was a hockey puck with guests names on them. 🏒🥅 It’s these kinds of details that make a wedding uniquely yours. What detail are you incorporating into your wedding design? . . . . . . #villalorianaweddings #weddingreceptionideas #weddingreceptiondetails #bridetobe #engaged #weddinginspiration #luxewedding #fineartweddingphotography #fineartweddingphotographer #filmweddingphotographer #sanysidroranch #saysidroranchwedding #holmanranch #holmanranchwedding #destinationweddingphotographer #southerncaliforniaweddingphotographer #santabarbaraweddingphotographer #malibuweddingphotographer #santaynezweddingphotographer #italywedding #Tuscanywedding #tuscanyweddingphotographer #provencewedding #italyweddingphotographer #destinationfilmweddingphotographer #jennyquicksallphotography
