@shonibarestudio’s ‘The Ghost of Eliza Jumel’, 2015, is featured in the exhibition ‘Garmenting: Costume as Contemporary Art’ currently on view at the Museum of Arts and Design in New York.
This global survey exhibition is dedicated to the use of clothing as a medium of visual art and examines work by thirty-five contemporary artists, from established names to emerging voices. By making or altering clothing for expressive purposes, these artists create garments, sculpture, installation and performance art that transform dress into a critical tool.
