*Don’t mind the “champagne drunk in a wedding photo booth” faces* 15 years ago Naeem and I played a show in Brazil with these guys and afterwards the man on the far left of this picture told me @matthelders had a big crush on me. He’d go on to encourage a romance between us over those next years but I never took him seriously and life took us in two very far directions (that taught and gave us lots so I have NO regrets!) but now 15 years later here we are, I’m Beyoncé crazy in love and nothing could be better. Absolutely. Nothing. Thank you @janesellisford for trying to play Cupid so long ago. I’m not sure everything happens for a reason. Life is weird. And windy. But love feels good and matt and I are very lucky to have so many wonderful people that’ve always been and always are rooting for us.
