We've all got a story... I sat down with @SterlingVineyards and dove into conversations about my childhood, the women who influenced & raised me, motherhood, the struggles of being a BIPOC woman in the entertainment industry, and many, many other layers of my life. The experience was not only eye-opening, but truly therapeutic. Some things I never said out loud, and there were some stones that were left unturned... It takes a level of vulnerability and honesty to put yourself and your work out there as a creative. Despite the judgement and uphill battles, you continue to put that foot forward and take strides towards your goal(s). That's part of your essence - your journey - and it's been quite a journey for me. Although you may not know of, or have seen every step taken, you've definitely experienced some part of my story through my self-expression.
