In anticipation of this labor of love collection, we talked to photographer @margotlily about how she achieved these psychedelic masterpieces. “Most of the creative decisions happened on the fly, as the stylist pulled an outfit and showed some inspiration images. I tried prisms and filters, holding them in front of the lens at different angles and playing with the distance. I shot mostly using available light. The shutter drag was achieved with the use of one off-camera flash, and I had @g.e.g.s , who was assisting, hold some gels by the window for the green dress. I'd never held up gels in front of the lens before, but I like the effect. Like the filters, I played with the distance from the camera and the angles I was holding them at, you never know exactly what you'll get and it's a lot of playing and hoping and then capturing that one great moment!”
