I didn’t plan on posting this 😂 No filter, no makeup...please feel free to zoom in on the rash-breakout on my face... #1. I took this photo just to post a “no filter, absolutely no makeup” for my IG story. #2. As I looked at the photo, with not even some mascara residue on my eyes, I saw a hint of my dad’s eyes (I’m fighting back tears as I write this). His eyes were a beautiful, glowing green, that I always wished I had gotten. (He died from an accident just a couple hours before he was supposed to pick me & the kids up at the airport some years ago now) #3. I used to always dislike my nose. It was the one thing I’d say if I wasn’t so afraid of surgery, that it’d be the one plastic surgery I’d get. But, right after my dad died, and all I wanted to do was see his face...or hear his voice...I looked up from washing my hands in the mirror, and for the first time I saw my dad’s exact nose, the nose I disliked for years thinking it looked like a “too round, pig nose”...instantly became the nose I loved, because it looked like a clone of my dad’s nose, from his face that I longed to see. #4. I like my no makeup face, because I get to see more of my dad’s features coming out to say hi...and give me a glimpse of my dad’s face again til I see him in heaven. #5.
